Philippians 4:4-14

4 Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again—rejoice! 5 Let everyone see that you are considerate in all you do. Remember, the Lord is coming soon.
6 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. 7 Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
8 And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. 9 Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me—everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.

10 How I praise the Lord that you are concerned about me again. I know you have always been concerned for me, but you didn’t have the chance to help me. 11 Not that I was ever in need, for I have learned how to be content with whatever I have. 12 I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little. 13 For I can do everything through Christ, [fn3] who gives me strength. 14 Even so, you have done well to share with me in my present difficulty.

I love these verses!  Definitely something to meditate on in the days ahead.  Verse 8 has been a life verse for me since I was a child.  Verses 11-13 are also very familiar, it's just that in the midst of difficult times I seem to forget them.  :)  I am truly grateful for His reminder of how sufficient He is!  Praying you are all blessed and growing daily in the Lord!

Galations 6:4-10

4 Pay careful attention to your own work, for then you will get the satisfaction of a job well done, and you won’t need to compare yourself to anyone else. 5 For we are each responsible for our own conduct.
6 Those who are taught the word of God should provide for their teachers, sharing all good things with them.
7 Don’t be misled—you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant. 8 Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit. 9 So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. 10 Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone—especially to those in the family of faith.

Galations 2:19-21

19 For when I tried to keep the law, it condemned me. So I died to the law—I stopped trying to meet all its requirements—so that I might live for God. 20 My old self has been crucified with Christ. [fn5] It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. 21 I do not treat the grace of God as meaningless. For if keeping the law could make us right with God, then there was no need for Christ to die.

II Corinthians 10:3-5

"We are human, but we don’t wage war as humans do. 4   We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. 5 We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ."

Calling Out

April is crying
Her heart in desperate need
The emptiness inside her
Brings her to her knees

She calls out to the Savior
Yet, still she can’t believe
That all her guilt and anger
Are hanging on that tree

She lives for every moment
When someone fills the need
She can’t give up the pleasure
Of giving in to the heat

Jesus stands with open arms
His blood and tears pour out
He whispers “I love you April
Why do you still doubt?”

April looks to heaven
She falls down on her knees
She gives her soul to the Savior
She finally believes
That all her guilt and anger
Are hanging on that tree.

“For God so loved the World, that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 KJV
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”  I John 1:9 KJV

II Corinthians 4:7-10

Even though I have been silent these last few weeks, the Lord has not been silent.  I love how He uses different seasons in our lives to teach us things.  This morning during my quiet time I felt God telling me it was time to start writing again.  I pray everyone reading this is healthy spiritually and physically.  This blog isn't so much about me as it is about Jesus and building a relationship with Him.  I pray that each of you would be blessed today and that God would fill you with Himself.

Here's the passage for the day:
8 We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; 9 persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. 10 We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.

Jeremiah 29:11-13 NIV

"11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart."

I love these verses.  Hope you all are encouraged as we start this new week.  God bless.
